Our Vision
To see a fully integrated structure and strategy for the sport, comprising professional, amateur and junior leagues as well as officials under a strong governing body, promoting the national team and culminating in qualification for Olympics 2010.

Mission Statement:
To give a voice to ice hockey fans who would otherwise be excluded from decision making processes within the sport.

Objectives:
BIHFA will initially work on the following objectives:

• To work with the proposed review of the sport to represent the view of the fans
• To lobby for the creation of a sports governance structure with power, responsibility and accountability for the long term growth and development of the sport
• To lobby for official representation within that governance structure to represent the views of fans
• To lobby for the formulation of a long-term strategy/plan for the sport in consultation with the wider British Ice Hockey community
• To establish and maintain meaningful dialogue with the leagues and governing bodies
• To campaign for and on behalf of members of the Association on matters raised by the membership
• To establish and maintain high quality and widespread levels of communication for members of the BIHFA and interested parties

Business Values:
We will not be affiliated to any club or organisation and will primarily be concerned with representing the views of supporters.

The BIHFA will be a non-profit making organisation.
